Hello, I'm Meghna.
I grew up in Bangalore, India, and earned a Bachelors in Architecture in 2017. I am currently pursuing a master's degree in Human Centered Design & Engineering at the University of Washington, Seattle.
My work experience thus far ranges from architectural projects, digital, and public space design in the urban to community-centered, research-driven design for lower-income groups in the rural.

More about me...
I felt the need to transition my practice from architecture to human-centered design during my work at Nivasa, an NGO that is focused on community research and providing housing and infrastructural solutions for economically weaker sections of society. My role as an ethnographer and researcher in addition to a designer allowed me to understand the importance of user research and the involvement of community members in the process of designing meaningful experiences.

In general, I look forward to interdisciplinary work environments, ideating with individuals from diverse backgrounds, and contributing to projects across sectors. I love learning new things and gathering a variety of experiences. In my free time, I practice and teach yoga, play sports, and strength train. I also enjoy photography and DIY craft projects.
